EE box pro. strange problem

My set up is EE box pro to tv via hdmi and television is set up with aerial straight to tv. Therefore I watch tv as normal and just use the ee box for TNT sports stuff. The problem is that when I turn on the EE box and go to TNT channels, after a couple of minutes it turns the television off then back on again. I have tried factory reset but still the same.

Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this?

Try turning off CEC control on the TV. You may have to Google what your TV manufacturer calls CEC.

Thanks for the suggestion. Apparently it is called viera control on my Panasonic tv.

I have turned it off and things seem ok .
