Picture and sound on TNT Sports really choppy tonight, not just me either it was the same for a mate 7 miles away, why is it so poor?

I had the same issue watching Arsenal v Porto last night and same tonight watching Madrid v Milan.

watching via Sky Q channel 1 as opposed to streaming.

whats going on?

I'm getting problems with the sound on TNT Sport 2. Sport 1,3 and 4 are fine but the sound/signal on Sport2 is flaky. This needs resolving.

Is that on satellite and HD? If so TNT Sport 2HD is on a different transponder than 1,3 and 4. It may be worth checking your dish to see if it's slightly out of alignment.

As every other channel is coming through absolutely fine, I'm not sure whether the dish is slightly out of alignment. Without getting someone out, is there anything I can do to check?

Try Hobbymaker HD or Create and Craft HD as they're on the same transponder. If you see the same issues it's probably your dish slightly out.

Thanks for the suggested check. I've just viewed both HobbyMakerHD and Create&CraftHD and both channels are being received without any problems with sound or signal quality. It seems to by a problem a problem only with TNT Sport 2.

I guess that's good and bad news then. Good that your dish is ok, but bad because you still have the same problem. Maybe check on the Sky Community forum to see if others are having the same issue as you.
