I renewed my contract recently and already had a stand alone Discovery+ Standard subscription.

After being prompted by BT to activate a free subscription I realise that I now have only a Basic subscription and cannot access my stand alone account to change it back to Standard, as changes to this account can now only be made by BT.

I spent ages discussing this on the helpline, but no joy. Eventually the person I was in contact with insisted on sending a Home Tech Expert, who was unable to do anything from my end. He said he would submit a report to insist that it be resolved and that I would be called back. No callback has been received.

I wish to remove the free subscription and revert to my paid for one. Can it be that difficult?
