Discovery plus

I have activated my discovery plus account and have a TNT sport subscription, but discovery plus is asking me to upgrade my pass to view sport on the discovery plus app.

any help fixing this issue

When you say you have activated it, do you know when you did it?

Your account shows it was activated on October 20th 2023 - is that likely to have been you? If so, could there be any other email addresses that you used to activate it on?

Yes I activated signed up through the bt link. Made the discovery account with the same email as my bt account. But it doesn’t have any active subscriptions on the discovery app

Did you do it in October 2023 though? Have you ever tried using the account in the 6 months since?

I can’t recall the exact date but I did activate it. And no I haven’t used it till I tried today and it’s showing no subscriptions

OK no problem - I've cancelled it. You can activate again now.
When it redirects you to the discovery+ site, be sure to use the "Sign in" link in the top right corner to pair your subscription with your existing login.

We've had discovery+ basic bundled with our TV package for some time now.

Occasionally, maybe every month or so, it would ask us to activate it again when loading the app.

This time, it does that then after scanning the QR code, I just get directed to the BT site to "upgrade" to the sports package.

No Idea what's going on and caught in a loop. Can you advise please?

I have BT Sport + entertainment package. Can I activate Discovery plus without any additional cost?

@tyler1942 You don't need to pay extra if you have a TV package you just link your BT account with your discovery plus app.

What you get access to in the discovery plus app is dependant on your package.

The activation links for your relevant package are at the bottom of this link https://www.bt.com/sport/discovery-plus

I don't seem to get the option to just activate discovery + sport.

@tyler1942 discovery+ do not have a "sport only" pack it is discovery premium that includes sport

With discovery+ Premium, you’ll also have access to TNT Sports and Eurosport
