Indeed it no longer has any security certificates issued for that version which quite frankly, would I suggest, make it extremely unwise to use on the old tablet.

Android annoys me too much. I have a perfectly working Android tablet and spare smart phone that are now completely unsupported. That’s why I’m very much an Apple fan boy now.

Curious! As this was when I opened the app on the my mobile phone which is running Android 16.

Not so curious. I suspect the notifications was generated because i also use the app on my old tablet running Android 7.

Perhaps they do not realise people use the app on several devices - I also run it on my Chromecast dongle so that is three devices for me.

I am presuming that I will have to go back to running the web site version of Discovery+ on my old tablet which I have done before during a time when the app was broken.
