HBO MAX/TNT SPORTS & NOW-(SKY SPORTS)

I currently have Discovery plus through MYBT ,I pay a subscription for NOW (SKY SPORTS)I could of course be reading the details incorrectly,but i am getting the impression that once i download the HBO app i will be able to access all the SKY sports channels without paying my now suscription.Anyone tell me if i'm if i am correct or have i got the wrong end of the stick.

I subscribe to TNT sport via BT and use Discovery plus to stream - this morning I have added HBO max to my TV apps and logged onto HBO max with my email address and password that I used on Discovery plus and it worked absolutely fine on my two TV,s

You can only access TNT Sports through HBOMAX, i have Now tv through BT/EE all lot runs out in May but i can renew now and get all the above which extends for 24 months including my broadband.

Hi @Cliff

The launch of HBO Max in the UK will not impact whatever NOW Sky Sports access you have.So if you currently use Now app for streaming the Sky sports content you simply continue to do so. HBO Max does not have Sky Sports content , (its sports offering is TNT Sports ).

If you have TNT Sports as part of any of your packages then if you are currently using discovery+ app to stream then the newly available HBO Max should now be used to stream that content .

Whoever you are paying your sudbscription to should have advised you about any changes in access.

Hello, odd one but I first had BT sports when I was a BT customer, now I’m not. But I still have TNT through discovery, and now have created an HBO max account with the same email address. Now if I wanted to upgrade my package for TNT sports plus HBO, it says manage my account through discovery. I log in to discovery and it says manage my account through BT. So I can’t change or amend my plan at all. What’s going on???

@stewarthastings I can disconnect your BT account from TNT, but I'm not sure if that'll help with HBO? Email me at eetvsupport@ee.co.uk with your old BT account number, and I'll see what I can do.

Actually I’ve just sorted it anyway as realised what I did the last time the sports moved. As I had the same issue then. Created a new account with a new email. Thanks anyway. Hopefully I don’t have to try again in future but looks like it’s sorted, but unsure if your workaround would have worked
