      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi. Does BT run a credit check when ordering broadband and landline? I don’t have a bank account yet and I also wanted to know if BT will sell me broadband and landline without a bank account? I can pay my bill at the post office. I don’t know if I’ll pass the credit check but I’ve looked online and I’ve not seen any instances of people being declined BT broadband&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;As far as I'm aware, your credit check will either be a pass with no restrictions or you'll have to pay a security deposit and pay by direct debit. I don't think there's any outright rejections but they may not be able to offer you a contract if you don't have a bank account.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would have thought BT was way down the list of difficulties of living without a bank account.&amp;nbsp; Getting paid and engaging with DWP and HMRC must be tricky.&amp;nbsp; Old people (I am one) often have trouble doing quite ordinary things without a credit card or bank account.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
