BT Home Essentials - Has BT cancelled the Unlimited Fibre Plan option?

I am currently on the Fibre with Halo 1 plan (contract has ended along time ago) and have just found out about BT Home Essentials. So I tried to sign up to the £20 Unlimited Fibre Plan option, but when when I started to fill out my details all that was offered was the £15 Essential Plan. Anybody else had this problem or is it all that BT now offer?

Hi, @Itsme7 I can confirm the unlimited plan is available. If you enter your address on the Home Essentials webpage it will then show you the three options you can choose from.

Thanks for the reply, but I have tried on 2 different devices - phone and tablet and got the same offers

i can not get anything like those offers shown

Hi @Itsme7,

Thank you for posting back. Going by your screenshot it looks like you're only being offered the Unlimited Broadband package and not the Unlimited Fibre Broadband package of Home Essentials.

What speed does your line support at the moment?

Can you entre your details on the Availability Checker? This will help to give us an indication of what your line can support and what packages are available.

Please can you post back the results but please make sure to remove your telephone number before posting back.

I did a speed test using the BT Speed Test before I started and it came back as 70.5 Mbs at the router

The checker results show show can get fibre 2 and expected speed range is 80/67mb. Can you use the link I posted for the web page or the link mod posted as that should take you to correct page to order

Thank you for all your help, but BT seems intent on only letting me take the option of the Essential Plan and 1Mb upload speed (thats the bit that gets me). It doesn't matter which way I try to get the Unlimited Plan, BT just won't budge. So it looks like after 45 years with BT, it is time to move on someone else for this type of deal. Thanks again
