Hey there. I moved house some weeks ago and it's going to take 2 months and a half for my BT service to be installed in the new place. I'd like to ask if this is a normal wait time for BT - seems like an awful lot to me!

Also, has anybody here asked for a refund when your BT service was not running for 2+ months? They sent a 4G BT hub in the meantime. But this never worked. I spent 2 weeks on calls and chats with BT and every time I was told a different reason why this wasn't working. They have now acknowledged the 4G service won't work at this place but they are still charging me the full cost as if I had proper BT Fibre broadband running here.

One customer service told me to ask for a refund once the service is installed, but based on how unreliable they have been in the past, I wonder if this is right.
