returning equipment

Hi, i returned my equipment via royal mail on 27th may, i am still getting notifications to return equipment. Have since moved house and cant find the receipt to prove this. If my direct debit is cancelled can they really take £43 off me? They were robbing me sufficiently whilst i was a customer! BT do not have my new address. Its all a bit tedious really, any thoughts?
