Change bt tv package

Hi when I joined bt recently I was under the impression that I would be able to change my tv packages online I have tried to do this without success I keep getting sorry there's a problem and to go to their products page when I do this it's the same thing all over again I do get to the check out page but that's as far as I get I am trying to switch to the vip package I don't want to have to keep ringing everytime I want to change a package surely if bt provide these links online they should at least make sure they work I switched from sky to bt thinking I would be able to customise my tv channels to suit myself I am already regretting switching
