How does Home Essentials differ to Fibre with BT Halo 2

With the current financial crisis going on I find myself in a position where Im looking at changing my 'Fibre with BT Halo 2' to 'The home essential Unlimited Fibre Plan'. But find it impossible to find out whether I will be able to keep created email addresses or if the connections to broadband will be restricted, will it be exactle the same connection I have now minus the extras ie. storage, anti virus and parental controls?
