Now TV add on

This morning I received email from Now TV stating that I had ordered Entertainment pack and all further correspondence etc regarding this would be via BT account.

since I had not knowingly ordered I cancelled via BT but the cancellation does not come into play until 28 Oct and I have to pay £9.99 for the privilege until then

this can’t be right ?
not used it and don’t intend to use it - any advice

Is there anybody in the house who could have? This will have been ordered either from the remote or by someone logging in with your details (change password too) & the pass is available straightaway so can't be cancelled.
