Hello!

Has anyone else had the issue that a residential line was still being charged for, though the number associated with it had been cut at the exchange, when moved to a business telephone line?

I've only just found out that this has been the case since March 2021.

Any help appreciated as I've spent 6 hours on the phone this week trying to get it refunded!

Welcome to the BT Residential Customers forum

As you are a business user, please could you post on the BT Business forum at http://business.forums.bt.com/

This BT Retail forum would not be able to help.

You would still need to pay for the physical connection (line rental), even if you have a BT Business service, there does not have to be an associated phone number.
