Broadband switch to Vodafone

My BT broadband contract ends Saturday 22 October. Vodafone are offering installation on Friday 21st or Monday 24th October. Will I incur any additional charges by choosing either of those dates?

Yes , but will be negligible, a day ETC for ending BT early , or a couple of days at the ‘out of contract’ BT price are not likely to amount to much …FWIW , you will probably get a bill anyway from BT after you are a VF customer, that will be for a full month and then be credited for the overpayment

Thanks. I’ll probably go for Friday - a day early instead of dipping into a new month’s payment on Monday.

My BT FTTC contract ends at end of Feb next year and Vodafone was one of the companies I had been looking at moving to if BT dont offer me a similar deal to what I got last time.

Also FTTP is due to come to my area in the first half of next year.
