      <title>Equipment return</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I originally joined BT in July 2019 and took out Broadband and the base TV package (at that time) which included the Youview recorder. This original contract was for 18 months.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;When this contract lapsed in January 2020, I renewed for 24 months. However, I did request nor receive any new equipment. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Now I have decided to leave, I have been instructed to return the equipment as per the T&amp;amp;Cs set out on Dec 2019. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Since I &lt;STRONG&gt;did not&lt;/STRONG&gt; receive any new equipment &lt;STRONG&gt;after&lt;/STRONG&gt; 12/2019, am I still obliged to return the equipment?&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;My argument is that had I left BT at the end of my original 18-month contract, then the equipment would’ve been mine to keep.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for any advice in advance&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.bt.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/311593"&gt;@andybellis76&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;if the equipment was provided in July 2019 then it belongs to you, we do however provide a facility to return it for recycling if it's no longer needed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
