Changing My BT ID USERNAME problem

Hell All ,

When I try To Change BT ID USERNAME it says username already exsisits but its my Email address I'm trying to use as my BT ID USERNAME ? How Can It Already Be In Use When It's My Email Address ? Thanks For Any Help

Hi @maltins, it may be the case that you've set this up previously. Try a password reset at BT.com Log in and see if you can access the ID ok when you've completed that.

However When I Do A Paaword Reset On The BT Id Username I want To use I Put The BT ID USERNAME then the Password and the page just refreshes with the BT ID USERNAME in the box and an empty password box ? thanks maltins

Hi @maltins, thanks for trying that and sounds like there may have been a problem with the BTID and maybe you used another BTID instead. We'll be happy to get this BTID fixed for you.
