First of all changing provider won't help if there is a problem with your line, it will still be the same line with the same problems.

Secondly, the speed quoted is just an estimate, the speed you will actually get will be exactly the same regardless of provider.

I'm thinking of moving to BT from Sky Broadband, sick of the constant dropouts at roughly the same times daily. When I've looked into switching the website is only giving me the option of upto 36mb, when I'm getting 54mb with Sky, when it works. Can anyone help me please?

Jarrod Gow
