Delete old account

I have an old account number for BT Sport. Could you please help me delete it?

My BT keeps switching back to that account making it impossible to manage my current BT account.

I'm told forum mods can help with this?

BT customer services should be able to do that for you, so please try them first.

Edit: I spent half an hour on the phone. And they weren't able to resolve it. They said the specialist team will contact me within about 48 hours.

There really should be a simpler self-service option.
