Switching from sky to BT

How would I switch from sky to BT? I have been with sky for 5 years and I wish to leave. I don’t know how it works.

You place your order with BT Retail, and they inform Sky that they are taking over your service.

Yes it is, its normally a smooth changeover on the date specified by BT.

The important thing is not to ask Sky to cease your service, as that will cause a pending cease on your line which will cause the BT order to be significantly delayed and you would be without any service.
