Yes an old broadband / phone account.

It keeps coming up as my default account and I want it gone ASAP. It's unnecessary and annoying.

Same issue here, I have an account number for an old BT sport membership that is my default despite having an active account for broadband, etc.

Can the old one be removed?

Hi Neil, I have the same problem, I've been on the phone multiple times for several hours to at least 6 different agents and nobody has fixed my issue. Can you help?

@Rob55 ask them to delete the BT ID so you can set it up again from scratch.

The mods cannot cancel accounts now so contact billing. https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband
