Compensation is paid as a credit to your bill.

Yes ok?but I've been on line and it states that when given compensation credit and you take the next bill from it you ask can for the rest to be payed into your bank .And people have been getting paid compensation straight into their accounts or either paid by cheque.

I take this to mean that unless you agree you want the compensation paid as a credit on your bill you can request an alternative form of payment.
