I would accept any landline alternative they could give to use in an emergency as hubby does not use a mobile. They only thing I want to keep is my existing landline number.

Currently have Broadband and phone package with EE but pay line rental directly to BT. I am looking to change from ‘copper’ to ‘Full Fibre 500’ with BT but keeping my existing number. Currently my house is unoccupied, most building work completed, will BT charge me to install the Full Fibre network as I need it installed in a slightly different place than it is at the moment.

I am not in any contract with EE at the moment.

Copper phone lines will be ending in 2025 at the latest aand normally full firbre connections include migration to digital voice for phone services. You insistance on keeping a BT phoneline is pointless. You can also port your BT number to any online VOIP provider of you choice.

As you are on a copper service atm it will become redundant and when the FTTP service is installed you discus where within reason where it enters the propery with the install engineer. If he/she agrees there will be no extra charge.
