    <description>&lt;DIV class=""&gt;have now had a text stating the issue on renewing my new package will be resolved by 1/8/23&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Recently I have been dealing with customer services and BT Sales.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Tortuous experience - 8 phone calls in last 2 weeks and mixed messages on status&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Just to be clear&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;I got email stating both parts of service were terminating which was not my intention&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;BT TV &amp;amp; Sports package I was happy to retain but Broadband was excessive charge - so despite negotiating I decided to go to Vodafone just for Broadband service&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Email states I cannot do this although Sales never pointed this out. BT TV only not possible. Grrr.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;To retain my account though.....&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;On speaking to Sales 14/7 this is what was promised to retain my services:&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Broadband at £24 / month&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;No need for landline but I decided to retain at NO Cost&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;BT TV - 3 months at £9 introductory offer and £18 for remaining contract months&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;This will on the Sales Team voice recordings&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Therefore I cancelled Vodafone Broadband and got confirmation email on same evening&amp;nbsp; Friday 14/7/23&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;From BT subsequently.....&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;I have Email Broadband &amp;amp; Phone (18&lt;SPAN&gt;th&amp;nbsp;/ 7)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;/ paperwork 17/7 but arrived 20&lt;SPAN&gt;th&amp;nbsp;(TV) wh&lt;/SPAN&gt;ich does not reflect above&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;£26.99 total with Pay as you go phone - not needed. Just retention of landline for incoming calls.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;On speaking to Customer Services this week&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;I am not on board with BT because of a technical issue on cutover&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Please write back on this email confirming my agreed verbally package details which will be the New Contract&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;I have been very proactive to try and get this resolved satisfactorily,&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I will raise this with the Ombudsmen if not.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Look forward to your reply and confirmation&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Best regards&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Richard&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;this is a customer help customer community forum and your post does not go to BT&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;you cannot just have the ability to receive calls and if you decide you want to keep ability to make/receive calls then there is an additional cost of between £2/5 and you then are PAYG&lt;/P&gt;</description>
