Hello,

I placed an order with BT after cancelling my sky broadband. I realise now i have made a mistake by cancelling sky first.

On my orders is says

Addition of broadband Complete

Auto cease order complete

Now this has happened. Do i need to contact sky to cancel my cancellation? and stop the cease on the line. Or do BT do something to proceed with the order?

My current broadband is sue to end on 06/10 and i do not want to go days without any broadband in the property. I am happy to cancel my cancellation, i just wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do. If i do cancel the cancellation, do i then need to place a new order with BT?

Many thanks

@shammond1604

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

You would be best to wait until the cease completes, BT will then progress the order. You are going to be without a connection, but this is unavoidable. Perhaps you can use a mobile phone as a hotspot?

Trying to cancel the cease with Sky, could result in you having to start a new contract with them.
