Xbox subsciption unwanted

For some reason I am now subscribed to the Xbox game pass Ultimate. As I am 81 years old this is an unlikely choice for me. I was also told my BT log in had been compromised. I have changed my password and cancelled the Xbox subscription but fear I may be charged £10 in the meantime. Is there any way of avoiding this please.

Hello! Are you able to remove the Xbox game pass and ensure I am not charged for it. As earlier mentioned I have cancelled the renewal. Many thanks.
