    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm working with someone that is making a substantial purchase and has had the offer of finance revoked because of what they say is a default added incorrectly for an old debt that's been paid over a year ago.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We've tried to talk to to BT via 150 and their advice is to raise a complaint with Experian who will contact BT and try to resolve that way...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We're looking for a faster solution - does anyone know of a phone number that we can call to discuss the (potentially) incorrectly assigned debt and if it doesn't exist - obtain a letter from them stating so?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for any advice on this one!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you use the search facility to find similar posts they all require you to contact Experian who then contact BT and it goes from there&lt;/P&gt;</description>
