Cancellation charge moving to EE ?

The boxes and switchover in jan 24th although I was led to believe there would be no cancellation charge as switching from BT to EE I’ve received a text saying we will be charged £33 for the early cancellation as contract ends in 5 weeks ?

from previous posts you should not be charged cancellation fees when moving from BT to EE. have you tried phoning CS 03301234150 or try billing https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband

if they can't help post back and see if mods can help
