I have recently started a switch from BT to EE, same package (staying on the full fibre 900) but I have been sent a letter stating that I will have to pay an early termination fee. The 3 different people I spoke to (from both BT and EE) have all said that I won't have to pay an early termination fee when switching to EE from BT so I was confused when I got this letter through the post.

You have probably been sent an automatic email when moving ISPs while still in contract.

Hi @sgt4hed welcome to the community and thanks for posting. Was the order done online or over the phone? If done correctly a regrade to EE from BT should not generate a cancellation charge.

Thanks
