Can't sign up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

I'd completely forgotten I had 6 months free Game Pass Ultimate with my fibre broadband.

I've gone into MyBT to select it and add now but all it does is throw an error:

Calling the number just seems to take me somewhere to raise a fault and I can't see any way to sign up?

How do I actually sign up?
