Gamepass Ultimate disappeared

I had 10 months left on my free Gamepass Ultimate from BT yet this morning it's suddenly stopped working and now showing as cancelled on my xbox console despite me not doing any thing to cancel it. The gamepass option has also randomly disappeared from my BT. Any help?

Sorry you're having trouble with your game pass. Have you spoken with our customer service guys about this? They should be able to help. You can get them on 0330 1234 150. Let me know how you get on.

Called them and got no real help just bounced from department to department and then told I was going to have to wait 5 working days essentially rendering me without the use of my xbox gamepass for that time period.
