Hi, I am looking to renew my broadband. I’m currently a broadband customer and have tried to add it to my account. However, everytime i tried to do this it gives me this error message.

"the postcode provided is different to the postcode where service is provided on this account"

Having looked at the account setting it looks like the post code is wrong but i am not able change it. Can anyone shed any light on this as it’s extremely frustrating.

Was it a new build? It’s been known for postcodes to change once a site gets signed off after the ONT’s have been registered and you have moved in.

https://www.openreach.com/forms/fibre-broadband-availability---customer-form

try this, explain your problem, add as much detail including the ONT serial number and your address and postcode and someone should be able to help.
