Can't activate Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

I am trying to activate the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which is included with my deal, but it keeps saying 'Unable to process your request. Please try again.'

The offer is only valid for 14 days and I'm worried it won't work without some intervention.

Help would be appreciated
