    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, very worried. I have received a bill for an account that I closed. Seems almost a year after I moved I have got a bill saying they only just closed it. I emailed twice my closure notice and rang to confirm they had it. Now they say I owe £203! &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt; how do I prove I did the emails and checked please?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This is just a customer to customer help forum, everyone here, including myself, are just customers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The only BT Employees are the forum moderators.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try calling 0330 1234 150&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Cancelling an account would have needed to be done by phone only. Its also possible you were still in a contract, and you are being charged cancellation fees.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If it had not been cancelled at the time, then it would have been closed when someone wanted to takeover the line. That may explain the recent closure.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
