Fibre with BT Halo 3+ with Universal Credit discount

Hi,

I have been on Universal Credit for a while and as money is getting tight I was wondering if I was eligible for a reduction on my current Fibre with BT Halo 3+

I hope I’ve been clear on this issue.

I fear you'll have to be very forceful on the telephone to get this "downgrade" from a Halo deal. Once BT have got its customers onto Halo deals, they seem VERY reluctant to downgrade them to cheaper plans. AFAIK, you can't do this online either - only by phoning them and doing battle with a BT agent, who'll also want to move you to EE because agents get greater commission for doing that.
