Need to cancel fibre broadband instal

Today I was sold a faster broadband package by BT / EE but didn't realise it would involve instal of fibre.

I dont' want to change from the broadband I already have. We live in a listed building and do not want any more holes drilled. I have tried phoning the BT helpline but no answer. How can I cancel the appointment and keep existing broadband?

The openreach link only has an option to change or accept.

Select the 'message now' option on this link https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband to have a live chat with a billing guide, they may be able to help.

I tried, just get an automated message "Sorry, our messaging team can't help with this." and a phone number to try which isn't answering. I'll try again in the morning
