Closing an old account

Hi,

I have recently signed up for bt tv and broadband, but was unable to use my email address as it is still attached to an old Bt Sport account that I do not use, so I had to use a different email address. I thought that the Bt Sport account had been closed but obviously not. Can someone please tell me how I can get it closed so that there is no confusion between the accounts.
