I keep being urged to go over to EE.

Can we keep our btinternet.com email addresses (self & wife)?

Can we keep our current mobile numbers (self & wife)?

Remember, EE are a separate company within the BT Group, and have their own user forum.

I would suggest you read some of the posts there, before making any decision, as you are not forced to move.

Yes you can keep your email addresses and yes you can keep your phone number.
