if you updated by going straight to EE then keep check on account especially if you still had time remaining on your fixed term BT contract as you may get charged for ending early. you will be able to get any charges back but you may need to contact BT/EE

Hello @Boris1978.

No question is a silly question 🙂

If you upgraded you will be migrated over and your BT Broadband will automatically be closed.

I hope this helps,

@Boris1978 - Did you sign up on the EE website as a new customer?

As the only way to 'upgrade' as an existing BT customer is by phoning BT. They would then guide you through the process and migrate you across, explaining the termination of your BT account.

The fact you are asking kind of indicates that you did the upgrade independently.
