Where to attach label to return a hub after upgade to Digital Voice

Have received a new router and need to return the old one.

Label instructions are to "Peel off the label and stick over the original box address label leaving the customer order bar code uncovered"

However, the box came shrink wrapped in plastic with the original label stuck to the plastic wrapping.... not on the box. So cannot over stick it with the new label.

Should I just stick the returns label supplied on the box and put the original label (with customer order bar) inside the box?
