No internet : Open reach error: Ghost line

Can anyone please help me.
Since July(!) we have been trying to change internet providers from Sky to EE/ BT. Each order the team have tried bounces back as apparently Openreach reject this. EE/BT believe there is an outstanding open ghost order on my line.

We didn’t place this order and have checked with our previous provider. Still, no one at EE/BT is able to resolve this meaning almost 4 months on we still have no internet.

We have tried calling Openreach but they will only speak to the supplier, not customer and I am at a complete loss of what to do next.

Unfortunately the area we live in, whilst not at all remote, is not covered by providers such as Virgin, who don’t use Openreach.

This is just a customer to customer help forum, everyone here, including myself, are just customers.
Use the address checker on the page below, and post the results, but edit out your address details first, but leave the exchange name and cabinet number showing.

You need to use the address checker option, not the phone number.

You have missed off the section to the right, which shows the availability, that is the important bit, which may show "Waiting List".

SOGEA is the correct service now, and it shows as available.

I cannot see why an order with BT or EE is failing.
