Cancellation of landline under POA

I am trying to cancel land line for my mother who has gone into a care home . I have POA. I have tried ringing 08007831401 but just get stuck in endless queue. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

This is just a customer to customer self help forum.

Unfortunately, you will need to persevere with the queue.

Have you read this page, as the POA needs to be registered with BT first?
