These teaser offers should be banned for new subscribers with everyone paying the same for an identical service. I believe Ofcom has to do more in protecting subscribers with a more robust and fairer pricing policy introduced.

Hi,

I want to renew my contract with BT for Broadband only yet the best offer I get is £40.99 compared to a new customer offer of £29.99. I was under the impression that renewal offers would never be more than a new customer one, anyone from BT explain why this is never the case?

AFAIK, the guarantee that you won’t pay more to renew than a new customer would pay only applies to existing Halo 3+ customers, ( it’s a perk of that product ) if you don’t have Halo3+ then that guarantee doesn’t apply , and for those that do have Halo3+ the guarantee is in relation to new customers taking Halo3+ no other products ,

Been like it for years loyal customers (20+ years now) always get a bad deal.

Need to read the T&C's for these like for like offers too.
