1998-2000 BT phone line paperwork

An obselte BT phone line installed around 1998-2000. Anyway to know the install date either on the hardware socket or through records with BT. Phoned customer service they could only locate a name and email addresses btopenworld.com. I have found a BT bill in 2013 with an GB account number and phone number.

Unsure which department is best for locating legacy accounts possibly provisioning/home movers department I used to work in one.

Why was it you were looking for the install date? As per our privacy policy, most account information is generally only kept for up to 6 years, so with the install being so long ago it is unlikely that the information will be anywhere available I am afraid Privacy Policy | BT

As far as I am aware there will be no way to tell any specific date from the socket itself

Its to prove to a housing surveyor when the building was there. There is no building warrant but exemptions if you can prove when a building was built.

Try looking on Google Earth, as there is a history timeline which may show when the building was there.

Surely the Land Registry or local council are the best sources of definitive information.
