Has anyone else started an order 1/11 and are still waiting on the service being provided. I’ve been lied to, misinformed and literally despite apparently being escalated to a level 2 still have no sense of when my service will be provided. I have been unable to connect my babies monitor so for the last month have had to sleep on the floor in my baby’s room to monitor him. I have had an engineer break a Christmas display and not mention it. The lies continue eg all outdoor work is complete…..outdoor work (despite I believe starting 8/11) is still not done. I was told last night by the next in a long line of people who really care I’d get a text confirming outside work confirmed for 26/12 and indoor connection confirmed for 30/12….. no text. So here I am 54 days after raising the order and it would appear nothing has been done at all. I’m sick of this. Big corporate no one cares. No one takes ownership. I must have called them 14 times seldom them me and must have spent over 20 hours listening to lies and misinformation. Please help!!!!!

Welcome to this customer to customer help forum for BT Residential phone and broadband customers.

The only BT employees on this forum are the moderators, who no longer have account access.

Why would a baby monitor require Internet access, sounds a bit of a security risk?

Apart from that, Internet is not guaranteed to always stay connected.

I wonder how we managed to bring our babies up before technology!!!

I expect its one of those monitors that require an app to connect to the Cloud. Silly idea, what is wrong with a direct wireless transmitter and a receiver, they used to work. There were even those which used the mains wiring to communicate, or even physical wiring 100% reliable.

Indeed. I had a friend of a friend who walked into the baby’s room to hear a third party talking to the baby just this summer.
