I have a broadband package, broadband and calls anytime. Fibre with halo 1. I pay £78.89 a month. Is it a fair price to pay?

What speed broadband and inside or outside a minimum term ?

You can always compare what you pay to what a new customer would pay for the same products , but if ( as an example ) someone allowed their minimum term to expire and remained on that , although it affords a greater degree of flexibility, in that they can switch without any concern about early termination charges , invariably it comes with a financial penalty of paying more than necessary

…anytime calls ‘list’ price is £18 , so if you are paying around £50 for the broadband element, it’s a lot for 40Mb , but isn’t outrageous for 500 or 900Mb

@Laxman3_ £79.89 is dear for broadband and phone. If you are on FTTC.

If you are on FTTP then is still dear but not by much.

I would look at changing your call package unless you really need anytime calls for your landline.

BT/EE are one of the dearest when it comes to call packages for landline. Virgin are not much better.

as anytime calling is an add-on you should be able to opt out and go to PAYG. however calling costs are expensive and if you use your landline to make calls then I would do some checking your previous calls before removing anytime calls

try using message now in billing if you decide that better without anytime calls https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband
