I looked at the bt home essentials for people on benefits and bt dosnt put in DLA as people on that benefit can’t afford the full price.

why isn’t DLA on the social tariff discount

if you go to Vodafone for their social tariff they include DLA on their discount broadband for people.

why is bt ignoring disabled people who claim DLA benefit

These are the T&C for home essentials and need to qualify. if you have found that vodafone in their conditions include DLA then try placing an order

85% of all social tariff customers are on BT , if VF do consider DLA a qualifying benefit and it’s your deciding factor, use them .

Whether you agree or not DLA is often more then the minimum wage. And obviously the social tariffs is for those on a low income.

Not my view just reality.

DLA isn’t a means tested allowance, so although it’s an entitlement, it’s payable to millionaires if the apply and qualify for it , so excluding DLA from a social tariff seems understandable, if VF want to offer their social tariff to those claiming DLA that’s up to them , but as far the total numbers they subsidise , compared to BT , they carry a much less of a financial burden .
