BT multiple accounts issue

Hello,

Im asking for help - I closed a BT account back in 2020. And opened a new one sometime after which remains active. However both the old (closed) account, and the current one are linked to my login.

This causes issues whenever I use the BT app - the app defaults to the closed account with no way to change it. Therefore I can't access any bills / current products via the app because it thinks my account remains closed.

On the website I have a drop down menu in My BT which let's me toggle between the two - but certain parts of the website still default to my previous old account with no way to change it.

Is there a way to completely remove this account altogether? I've contacted support multiple times regarding this - and they assured me the account had been 'unlinked' from my profile. However it is still there to this day.

Acc numbers in question:

GB23******

GB23******

Many thanks

Callum
