      <description>&lt;P&gt;I found out my contract which is fibre to cabinet and copper wire&amp;nbsp; from post to home was about to end and the deal was the same as i am paying now so i am going from 20mb per sec to 900mb for same price but it was a nightmare trying to do the deal. The person i was talking to said thats a big jump in performance so i will have to calculate how much i am going to charge you ...... went from £41 to £67 ????? i said thats a rip off its not my fault your old&amp;nbsp; local exchange has been giving me a rubbish copper wire signal. The woman then changed her story and said my deal was not on her screen so i could not have it. I said what do i have to do to get the deal i am looking at and the reply was your online now so do it yourself ...... i said thank you for wasting an hour of my life and hung up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did it myself but at the end the was a digital phone listed for £33 that i did not want so rang again ... i told the other person what had just happened for the last hour and he said thats rubbish DONT complete the form i will sort it and give you the deal your looking at. When the contract arrived it showed £11.99 for delivery of the new hub.. I think thats a complete rip off because in 23 years on bt broadband i have never been charged delivery on a new or replacement hub.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Connection due in 5 days lets hope that is different to my deal experience.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The reason for my gripe was because of how i was dealt with and the fact that the price i was paying was way over the top for only 20mb&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i have printed off the 15 page contract which is something i would not normally do.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its 900mb down , 110mb up and stay fast 700mb , even if i only got half that it will still be better than to 20mb i have been getting.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Please keep us informed on how this deal actually works out, and whether you get the 900Mbps download that you have been assured you'll be getting.&lt;BR /&gt;There have, unfortunately, been a number of postings on this forum where people have not got anywhere near what they have been promised or, worse, they have been left without any broadband service for days - or even weeks.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Got the broadband deal i wanted at the price on my screen but its not all good news.&lt;BR /&gt;Line tests show 810mb to home ... they sent me a pdf.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Problem is the wi fi signal to all my devices from the hub is only around 320 mb ????&lt;BR /&gt;I even sat at the side of the hub with a phone and laptop and got 320mb.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They say the only answer is to use an ethernet from main pc to hub that is 15 foot away but due to layout of home that is not possible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I guess i must look on the up side .... i can only&amp;nbsp; get 320mb but on copper wire with ethernet i was only on 20mb and thats not a misprint i did say 20 not 200&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>No provider guarantees WiFi speed , the service is to the demarcation point (ONT/router) not any individual device…..900Mb is really 1000Mb bit is marketed as 900Mb because after overheads the ‘payload’ is around 960Mb , better for people to get better than complaining they ‘only’ get 960 when it should be 1000.&lt;BR /&gt;What do you do on your wireless device where 320Mb is not enough ? whatever you are doing doesn’t need 320Mb leg alone 900Mb , looking at the needle on a speed tester swinging around to 900Mb isn’t about the only way you would ever notice , so unless you but 900Mb just to watch a speed tester display then in the real world you already have far more bandwidth on a single device than you could ever hope to use .&lt;BR /&gt;As far as the previous service , you paid for a speed ‘band’ , if your line length was such that 20Mb was the speed , it was still using the same equipment as someone on a shorter line getting the full 40,55 or 80Mb of the ‘band’ they ordered …if 20Mb was your speed then the cheapest 40Mb ‘profile’ was the obvious one to be on .&lt;BR /&gt;Delivery charge on routers is something pretty much every provider charges for</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your quick reply and with regards to what CANT i do on 320 the answer is i can do everything i want.&lt;BR /&gt;When i only had 20mb copper wire i ran 2 smart phones , a tablet , a laptop , a games rig and a spare pc , in fact B.T. said they were surprised i could do all that without buffering. I did not expect loosing that much from the fibre hub to my devices that are all wi fi ..... i guess i should be thankful that i can do what i do despite the loss.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Where i go on holiday in scotland&amp;nbsp; ( cromarty ) the signal is so bad they sometimes struggle to do emails and some shops send staff outside to use payment machines because thick stone walls block signal&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
