Do you still have an analogue phone line, or have you been migrated to digital voice?
If the latter, there is no way BT will cancel your broadband but keep your digital voice telephone.

I am paying over £59 a month for a service I do not use as the broadband is only a guaranteed 800k upload and 1mbps download which won’t run my clock let alone anything else , Bt refuse to put fibre in blami g Openreach and Openreach blame BT as they say they don’t put an order in….after several years i do t bother asking anymore , no other provider can give anything g else as they use the same lines. So I want to just keep the phone line and email only so I can use it on my iPad email system and not the internet way . The person online chat could not work out what I was asking and just kept saying You want to cancel …….i gave up again so does anyone have the answer to Phone number and email only ……

If you cancel broadband your email will be downgraded to BTMail Basic which can only be used with a web browser and not with an email app which is what you may be using on your iPhone. If however you use a web browser to use your email on your iPhone you will see no difference

To use an email app you need to get BT Premium email.

See link
